10 spiritual practices that have made me a happier person – Ranveer Allahabadia (Beerbiceps)
1. Wishing for growth for every human I come across, no matter what their nature, no matter what their actions.
2. Respecting animals in the same way that humans respect humans.
3. Positive self talk, especially on challenging days.
4. Lighting a ghee lamp every night. Gazing at its light. Erasing everything but the positivity of that lamp from my mind.
5. Heartfelt charity.
6. Giving my work my 500% and more. Meaningful work is the greatest meditation.
7. Chanting a small mantra in my head at all times. Once it becomes a habit, it also becomes a part of every breath. Aum Namo Dattaye. Aum Aum.
8. Deriving joy and stimulation from the shapes & colours of nature.
9. Always smiling and hoping that my smile heals hurt souls. Even if the healing is miniscule, this universe needs every bit of added positivity.
10. Daily meditation, prayer and exercise. Respect your own body and mind first & foremost.Sending you light, hoping that you find peace in every moment.
