SpaceX Starship Prototype Explodes on Landing After Test Launch. See Elon Musk’s Tweets

Wednesday, SpaceX’s Starship prototype exploded while attempting to land on after an otherwise successful test launch from the company’s rocket facility in Boca Chica, Texas, a live video of the flight showed.
The rocket destroyed in the accident was a 16-story-tall prototype for the heavy-lift launch vehicle being developed by Elon Musk’s private space company – SpaceX, to carry humans and cargo on future missions to the moon and Mars.
Elon Musk said in a tweet immediately following the landing mishap that the rocket’s “Fuel header tank pressure was low during landing burn, causing touchdown velocity to be high & RUD, but we got all the data we needed! Congrats SpaceX team hell yeah!!”
