The inspiring journey of Rohan Agrawal, the 19-year-old who has hitchhiked to over 100 cities across India without money

This is Rohan Agrawal, 19 years old nomad student from Nagpur Maharashtra, started my journey of learning.

I embarked on my journey of going across the country on 25th August 2020 with some clothes and little accessories in 18-year-old age, without money.

It’s been more than 200 days around now I started my yatra (journey) and will go to every state and will go till Siberia.

I have crossed more than 10 states and 3 union territories till now.

One of my difficult trek-kedarnath Also,, I carried 18kg of this luggage with this trek and also it was my 1st trek to be It was no wonder how tough it was to be, but yeah there was a power who helped me up

I had always been impressed with the gurukul system of education in which students had to undertake a Deshantan (journey across India), at least once during their course of study. The intention was to learn about India’s culture, its people, broaden one’s perspective on life and learn practical life skills. I decided to imitate the same practice, with the exception that he would also hitchhike when possible.

I randomly got to meet this uncle in a white shirt when I was walking on the banks of river Cauvery in a small village He gave me food and amazing your of his coconut farm and loved like anything Also I volunteered and helped him for some duration!

People have helped me in everything from lift, food, and shelter and even phone recharges and warm clothes and so much love.

People have given me the nicest place in their home to sleep, best food to eat, gone out of their way to assure I may reach the destination or place I have been going to, treated me like their son and brother and what not!

I remember a family that was very poor; they don’t make eggs in their home.

But they brought for me because they wanted to give me some good energized food for the next day adventure

And there are thousands of stories of humanity.

I don’t know what’s the reason behind people’s showers so much unconditional love to me!

I got invited in a kannada wedding And people was so curious to come up to me and ask several questions and learn some thing and share there experiences too

I have volunteered in NGOs, hostels, Dhabas, resorts, teaching English, ashrams, and also in farms.

To learn from a different way and show humanity still exist amidst show much negativity in the air.

Love and peace!
